Thought the changes made by Tuchel helped us with a tiring Congo who didn’t have as good subs as us. Disappointed with our first half display but Congo were better than I thought they would be 🙂

Mexico: cynical, defensive, anti football. Surprised Congo weren't more cynical - especially after going ahead. When their goalie jumped over their defender, I thought the time wasting had started already. But, in fairness to Congo, they recognised that the wide defenders were England's weak link.
But England will struggle to break down an ultra defensive side.
In addition: Pickford has been poor. O'Reilly was non existent. Spence wasn't awful, just not great either.

As above, O'Reilly is not adding anything. In private, I thought he might be a better player than Mitchell. He has done nothing all tournament. Teams would likely not attack down that side with Mitchell. Clearly, currently, attack England on the flanks. On the other side I don't find Spence great but he does a job. O'Reilly has done nothing defensively or in attack. Twice, he nearly set them up with his lack of aggression.
