I don't hate him as much as others seem to, not on a personal level anyway, just as a figurehead representing all that is wrong.

I don't think Starmer is a bad person at all, just quite a weak and naive one who was completely at the mercy of the forces who control that position.

That doesn't excuse his failings, just a comment on the sh!tshow itself.

Meanwhile the wealth gap ever widens and most people get poorer, it's near impossible for the vast majority of young people (or anyone else) to get homes and start families without being on benefits, rape gangs are allowed to flourish, we're surveilled more than ever, the rights and freedoms of the British are being trampled on, men are being psychologically castrated to the extent some are convinced they are women, and the Sainsbury's end remains unchanged.

tralalalala, la la la la.
 
What we have here is an ideological war.

The left are hell bent on defeating the right and what they call 'Nationalism'.

To them, nationalism is resisting The EUs drive towards a one government Europe and a desire to preserve the culture, safety and security of Britain and the very existence of the British themselves.

Now we have this pantomime of a supposed 'new beginning' and a 'redoubling of effort' and 'a new way forward' under a leftist failure and the usual union cronies.

The country needs a general election.

My lefty neighbour is devastated and trying to blame everyone, the media (Tories and Reform of course) et al. Anyone but the Party.

I pointed out that this is purely an internal Labour Party issue and she should reserve her anger for the Labour MPs, she's not having it though, talk about one rose tinted glasses.

Politicians rely on short memories. Not so easy with social media. That's one reason why they want to restrict it.
They can't get away with so many lies, hypocrisy and self serving policies. That's also the primary reason why we have had so many Prime Ministers in such a short time.

We the people now have a means by which to hold them accountable. Surprise, they intend to remove it by stealth.
