Premier league fixtures 2026/27

September, December and April have the toughest set of games. Might be a repeat of last season, a good start, total collapse in December, pick up wins in Februray and March, lose a string of games in April, crawl over the line in May. Will be happy with that if we get to the Europa League final.

Rinse and repeat every season with us, we have periods where we look a good premier league side and are capable of beating anyone, then we can look like the worst team in the division, no energy and no idea.

A tough season ahead. With Europa League and Cup matches we have seven matches in December and eight in January. Loads of Sunday matches coming up as well. At least it’s easier to park on Sundays!

I imagine it will be another season of securing PL survival as a bare minimum, which will only get any attention if this is under threat, letting whatever happen in the domestic cups and maybe having a little run in the Europa League.

Any real threat of relegation and progression or exits from Cup competitions will determine where priorities lie.

Gonna be busy!

38 league games + a min of 8 Europa league games, assuming that we don't make it to the play off stages or automatic qualification for the knockout stages (according to the palace website) + 2 domestic cups, assuming we get knocked out at the first round = at least 48 games.

Everton. Either get it out of the way or sets a good tone for the season
You got your wish! I don't think it's such a bad start, avoided most of the big boys for a few months other than getting Man City on week two, but hopefully they will not be up to full strength getting used to Maresca.

December and January are the toughest months. I don't mind that. Chance for early momentum, and enough time to arrest a slump if it does happen over Christmas and New Year.

There's also Europa league games in January too. We really need a flying start to the season!

Pierre's got a tough start. Nobody would be surprised if we lost those first two fixtures, especially as Everton seem to have established themselves as our bogey team.
However, the following five fixtures fans will expect him to win.
If he doesn't then it's going to be a rocky road.
