Rape Gang Inquiry Report:

- A baby was abused and had cigarettes stubbed out on it while the mother was forced to watch; the baby was then killed.
- Girls were set on fire.
- Girls were sent to “red rooms” to be tortured, some of them killed, some of it livestreamed.
- One girl was raped by a dog while men bet on whether it would vaginally or anally rape her.
- Girls were forced to have abortions with knitting needles.
- Glass bottles, keys, baseball bats, and other objects were forced inside them, some shattering.
- Girls were gang-raped by dozens of men at a time in “party houses.”
- Girls were whipped, hung upside down, suffocated, and urinated on.
- Girls as young as 5 or 6 were tied up and abused.
- Girls were locked in dog cages.
- Girls were branded with an “M” for Muhammad.
- Girls were threatened with being killed and fed to pigs.
- Girls were mocked for wearing a crucifix during the rapes.

The statistics of ethnicity for rape gangs were almost directly proportionate to the ethnic make up of this country.

But that’s not acceptable for you or others on here whose entire existence seems to be based on thinking immigrants commit every crime going.

The reason for the anger over the Grooming gang cases is that most of these could have been identified and action taken as members of the community, social workers, police and local politicians were aware of them.

I don't doubt that racism does play a role in public anger however people were also angry over Jimmy Saville and his chums at the BBC, countless children's homes scandals, Magdalene Laundry, schools, Scouts, children's sport clubs etc etc.

The anger is directed at the perpetrators but also the authorities who turned a blind eye to the abuse.

So I don't accept the argument that if Pakistanis weren't involved the public wouldn't care.

You're right Badger and there's also a general weariness with how opinions are both prescribed and proscribed. So many thoughts which are not officially approved are met with allegations,accusations and insults that finding any middle ground is very difficult.

There's nothing political about it beyond the weaponisation of the spiritually unwell/weak.

It almost implies that turning a blind eye to torture is a valid political choice, which gives brainwashed simpletons a get out.
