I don't know where you are getting this info from as the governments own website states the following:

The ethnicity data collected for victims and perpetrators of group-based child sexual exploitation is not sufficient to allow any conclusions to be drawn at the national level.

If, as you imply, 85% of rape gangs are by the white UK male, then extrapolating the figures for Asian grooming gangs the numbers would be huge (off the top of my head I can think of 3 cases of Asian grooming gang which, when extrapolated would mean approx. 24 similar cases for white uk males - I actually do not know of any, perhaps you can direct us to all these court cases).

if you broke it down into the size of the gangs it would make a difference. 2 white guys is a gang 12 Muslims is a gang.
