Jedi scored a penalty for Australia in 2014 while a Palace player, coincidentally this was also against the Netherlands.

He scored 2 more penalties in 2018, but this was after he left Palace.

Tbh half of our players there won't feature that much. Munoz, Lerma, Richards, Riad, Sarr and Kamada (who may no longer be our player) will be the only ones getting regular playing time. You'd imagine most of them will also get to no further than the last 16.

Henderson, Mateta, Lacroix, Goodman, Pino and JSL will get some minutes but I wouldn't have thought will feature that much. Possibly JSL, but he needs to improve his fitness and sharpness anyway after half a season on Wolves bench.

Henderson may not get any at all in the competition. I hope he does feature, he deserves to.

We've got four wingers, great, three of them are injured or coming out of injury because the idea of the first two games against Cape Verde and Saudi is to get them ready for the bigger games, for the next stage.

So we did not use one of our wingers, Yeremy Pino. The substitutions came quite late, based on the fact that he [Spain manager Luis de la Fuente] wanted Lamine Yamal for as much as he can play, Neco Williams and Mikel Merino for another 20.

He was waiting and waiting and waiting - by which time, the nerves of the situation made playing football even harder. Cape Verde were getting bigger and bigger, taller and taller, faster and faster.
