Alina Burns being in the UK sadly isn’t a choice for us, unlike the way the Sudanese man being in the UK IS a choice.

What? It was a pretty big story when the news broke, there is two crucial details you have conveniently decided to leave out, the victim was not injured beyond minor injuries, she was promptly overpowered by the barber who by all accounts is a good citizen. I'll state the blatantly obvious that the victim was nowhere near as badly hurt as Ogilvy was in the Belfast attack. That is a fact. She got 19 years in prison if I remember correctly, the intent was there so she is indeed a psychopath who belongs behind bars. We are all very aware we have our own homegrown wrong-uns, does that mean we should be letting in foreign versions of her? We can actively do something about the imported wronguns.

Read a European wide report which spoke about terror threats. They had investigated three categories, dissident right, far right and Islamic Terrorism - areas where they were concentrating their efforts on. There had been something like three far right terror attacks, there had been no dissident right attacks or even plots, there had been two thousand Islamic attacks during the period. There had been something like two far right plots stopped and several hundred planned Islamic attacks stopped. Again, there was nothing at all from the "dissident right" - who had been counted as a threat.
No one wants the actual figures. They point towards one thing and one thing only. That's why you never see them.

Palestine Action activists jailed over Bristol Elbit factory raid

The case is believed to be the first time that convictions for criminal damage have been classified as terrorism.

This was a violent attack, people were hurt and millions of pounds worth of damage done (unlike Epsom).

Green Party Leader Zack Polanski said it was "gut-wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel".

Labour MP John McDonnell said the scale of the sentences was "truly shocking".

So apparently it's not only the right who over look violent protests.

Can you also include the statistics for violent AntiSemitism ? Personally i cannot remember the last swastika-fella attacking jews on European soil, certainly in my own lifetime.
But i am capable of being corrected.

Are the cops & media conflating a threat that is about as abstract ( & likely) as Charlton winning the FA Cup ?

Off the top ofy head, I think there was one in Germany or Austria within the last few years. There may have been two. The rest were Islamic attacks on Jews but often not reported as such. It's not at all fashionable to report and there are clear reasons we're not going to hear about it in Ireland.
We've pretty much decided that we are Gaza. I was never asked but we know that there's no point in asking in Ireland. You can only say no so many times before the government does what it likes anyway.
We really should put something rainbow and something Islam on our flag. That'll actually be a good laugh.

I'm pretty sure the rainbow parade in Dublin next week will have a serious lack of........diversity.

I do wonder how the huge influx of Muslims in the city center will react to it. And I wonder will a parade go past city west hotel 🤭

The ‘dissident right’ are just the far right whose balls haven’t dropped yet.

There'll be a bemused Imam at it. I have no doubt on that. Rte will interview him. He will have likely heard Ireland is religious and conservative.
