Makerfield by election

Recent events in Southampton and Belfast will surely affect the voting intentions of many in Makersfield .
This by-election is not really about local issues anyway after the far-left decided to use it to replace Starmer as Labour leader ..
You have a point. But Restore will take Reform votes. Tories will be wiped out. Really was rife for a Reform/Restore pact.

Well, if you think being unlawful is ok 'at times', you must think it is a matter of choice for people rather than inherently right or wrong.
I think it might be alright to smoke some puff, for instance, even though it's not legal.

Or, if people illegally block traffic or thoroughfares, for instance.

Enough sitting on the fence, mate; do you think setting fire to people's home, willy nilly, on account of them being of a different nationality or skin colour is acceptable? Would you call that 'inherently wrong'?

Would you condone it?

Do you condone it?

I am against law-breaking.

Farage has the 6th most appearances in the history of Question Time, and I believe the most in the 21st century.

He’s probably the most overrepresented guest in the shows long history.

If not being on the panel is proof that the BBC hate Lowe/Restore… then they bloody well love Farage.
Trying to catch him out for clicks but he’s too smart for them.

As you have previously stated you aren't objective.

Farage is second in the polling, of course he should be there.

Besides the point being made is that the party third in the polling wasn't represented, yet parties on apparently 1 percent were.

No one is objective. Can’t believe you’re still going.

Farage is second in the polling recently - that’s not true of the 21st century as a whole, and he certainly hasn’t been second in the polling for vast majority of his appearances on QT.

Farage’s appearances on the show vastly outweigh more historically popular parties on the left, who have been underrepresented for decades.

If Burnham wins this due to Restore splitting the right wing vote then I just hope the Restore brigade finally get the message. This is not about specific policy. It is about direction of travel.

Nothing will be gained if Labour win the next election. It seems inconceivable that it could happen given the farcical nature of their tenure, but it could happen unless the right rally behind one party.

Here's a clue. Restore and the Tories cannot win.

Probably paid off by someone to split the vote.

Seems Reform using Makerfield as a litmus test for the threat level of Restore. If Burnham wins then it points to the local voters not caring that they are being used as a door mat for Burnham's ambition.

Starmer is a busted flush who has nothing in common with or any appeal to the good people of Makerfield.

As someone once said, politics is about events, which now is the resignations from the Defence portfolio and rumours of Yvette Cooper being unsettled.

I don't see Burnham to do anything about the defence crisis, one can only hide behind the sofa at the thought of what his cabinet might look like

There is lowhanging fruit, billions slated for carbon capture and net zero.

Let's see, not long to wait now.

Labour will win Makersfield but then they should , Maybe if Restore withdrew it would possibly go to Reform .
Come the next G.E Reform and Restore will have hoovered up most of the Tory vote and Northern Labour voters , Can see some sort of agreement between them and mutual pledge for a coalition if it’s a hung parliament to avoid splitting the vote .

This makes Rupert Lowe as self serving as the rest.
if Burnham were to lose there is a possibility of a General Election.
if Restore stay in this game then it proves that Lowe is narrow minded and only cares about Reform not winning.
Dreadful man

I am sure Burnham will win whatever name the far right trade under Omo,Daz,Persil Resort, Relax, restitution i'm sure the right will splinter into tiny fragments by the time of the next General Election as the Greens will fade away because one club golfers in the long run do not appeal to the General public, the person in the Street wants to know how far their pound will stretch in the supermarket, will little Johnnie get a good education and a meal at school, can I pay the heating bill, the bread and butter ( sorry unintended pun) issues.
