Could anyone translate this?
Not sure if it's reliable
They have to be good enough for this level though dont they? How many youngsters do you see at other Premiership clubs breaking through to the first team? We are one of the highest performers when it comes to nurturing young talent. Look at Chelsea. They have something like 300 young talents stockpiled in their academy and scattered around the World on loan. How many have broken into their team? Trev? Connor? Cant think of anyone else.Parish must appoint a manager who will give youngsters a chance and not because injuries decimate the squad. I have seen too many good youngsters written off because they didn’t settle immediately in first team training. Most ended up National League or below. Even young signings were written off too early with Sorloth and O’Brien being recent examples. SP has made a promise to the youngsters but will the new manager comply?
I'd expect Cardines to become a regular fixture on the bench next season. The only criteria for playing should be that you are good enough. If our younger players are good enough then great. If they aren’t then they shouldn’t be playing. We’ve given younger players a chance, notably Eze, Olise and Wharton. They just are players we purchased due to their quality. What we haven’t seen since AWB is a player come through our academy who is good enough. That’s ok. The overwhelming majority of players won’t be.
