I thought I remember us being favourites or one of them for the league title after we got relegated in the 90’s, the year where we only lost a couple of our best players, GT and Eddie I think and Alan Smith took over, we did go on to win the league with Gareth Southgate as our leader 😀

I did wonder about one of those seasons in the championship. We used to be amongst the favourites. And then amongst the favourites for relegation when we made it.

Could it be the first time we’ve had to play on an artificial service since the early 80’s when we played QPR,Luton and Oldham. Although I’m not sure we actually played Oldham on there’s??

Fcuk uefa, but we were still happy to play and win one of their tournaments, never saw the sense in singing that
