I said...Hamas started this war with the Oct 7 massacre. They embed in hospitals/schools, divert aid, and use kids as shields.

The Serbia comparison fails because Israel left Gaza years before. Hamas chose rockets and tunnels over peace.

And if we are talking about mass child murder I'm sure you don't mind the hundreds if not thousands of little children murdered in clinics everyday around the UK?

No where have I supported Hamas. I take issue with the method used by Israel and approved by you where tens of thousands of innocent collateral deaths are shrugged off as just more dead brown people.

The "what?" applies to the last sentence.

No one is "shrugging off" civilian deaths as "dead brown people" that's a lazy racist smear to avoid the actual issues. Civilian casualties are tragic, and I and others here have never celebrated them.

The problem is you’re putting the full moral blame on Israel for defending itself after Hamas launched this war with the deliberate Oct 7 massacre.
 
After everything that's happened, it's going to be a long, long time before anything is solved between these too.
If people weren't radicalised or zealous, they probably are now.
If I were a Palestinian, I probably would not tolerate Jews or Israel. If I were Israeli I wouldn't tolerate most of Islam and certainly not Palestinians.
Sure fire recipe for terrorist attacks across the world for years to come. It's a sure thing.
Reminds me of the 70s/80s hostage taking and hijacking etc.

You need to read up the thread on celebrating the deaths. Few have criticized them and then they do they are branded "Jew haters".

We will not agree the word highlighted. That was an IDF spin from day one that even they abandoned.

Israel is defending itself after Hamas’s unprovoked Oct 7 massacre. That is not “IDF spin" as you put it, it’s basic reality and international law.

Starting a war with mass murder, then hiding behind civilians doesn’t erase the defender’s right to respond.

I’ve never seen anyone here celebrate civilian deaths. Pointing out Hamas’s responsibility and tactics isn’t a celebration.

Please address the point that they are defending themselves by a method that involves killing tens of thousands of people who cannot have anything to do with Oct 7.

Hamas governs Gaza and launched the Oct 7th massacre. They embed thier forces in civilian areas and use them as shields.

You don’t get to attack, hide behind your own people, and claim the defender has no right to respond.

Israel targets Hamas while warning civilians while Hamas maximizes civilian deaths for PR.

Responsibility starts with the aggressor.

As for the ridiculous Birmingham pub bomb analogy...was the IRA the government of Ireland?

Hamas have had no mandate in Gaza for a very long time.

One terrorist stands behind 10 non combatants. Kill all 10 to get to him. You support that. I do not. I guess that twain will never meet.

What if intel revealed the terrorists fled to Cork and the Garda were protecting them?

To be fair, a small amount of research will show you a little sample of the amount of Islamic terrorists in Ireland or who have Irish citizenship. The Guards wouldn't be protecting them, they'd be too busy fining people for car tax or speeding. They wouldn't have a clue frankly. Hence they're here.
The attitude here is so anti Israel that no one cares. Do not be openly Jewish here. But openly ISIS would be fine.

You are at least correct in that they have no mandate 🤣 or perhaps they do and it's to kill Jews? They certainly control Gaza with or without a mandate. Didint they seize power in 2007 or 08 ?
