It just highlights how wrong the new rules are. Cup tied is a simple concept and is the correct process. You should not be able to play for two different teams in the same cup competition in the same season, especially when you’ve already been eliminated.

I never liked the cup tied rule in the first place. I mean it would be the same as being league tied after playing for a different club in the league.
Simple solution is to scrap the January transfer window and close the summer window before the season kicks off 😃
