Both irreplaceable.
 
If some of the Bayern passes had actually got to Olise (many were intercepted) then Bayern would have won last night. Also the penalty for PSG was harsh, the ref. should have stuck to his decision.

Irrespective, it was one of the greatest examples of exciting, attacking football I have ever seen.

That’s true, but I think we did a great job of replacing Olise and Anderson with Sarr and LaCroix, not sure about the last two windows efforts with Pino, Johnson and the juries still out on JSL, but we can’t win them all

Yeremy is 23 and Johnson is 24. I think we forget that sometimes.

Yeremy has shown flashes for us, but does need to push on. I’m sure he will. We are going to have a new system in a matter of a couple of months and that could benefit him.

Johnson really hasn’t shown us much yet, but he had a fantastic season in Ange’s last season at Spuds. That is what we need him to get back to, it was only a year ago, he’s had a huge drop off I won’t deny it, but that means there’s the potential to have a huge turn-around in there somewhere. I think part of it is a confidence issue, and I think that stemmed from his falling out with Thomas Frank. A bit of inner resilience is required… sometimes that comes out in someone when it’s least expected.

Even JSL is only 26, and a bit like Johnson we just need him to get back to his best form, which again was only a season ago.

The number one task in our next manager’s in-tray will be to get the best out of these three. It’s not impossible, but it will take the right kind of character and a good coach. If the rumours around Andoni are true I think we have identified the right man for that task.

I can’t believe he’d want to take what at best would be a sideways step, probably backwards step looking at our league form, but if our leader could pull this off, it’ll be the biggest coup since Lombardo 🤣
