Season Tickets 26/27

Well I’m pleased that season tickets have been frozen for next year. The club could have probably justified increasing them by 5-10% like a lot of the other prem clubs. Thank you CPFC.

My ticket is £600, I’ve missed 6 home league games this season for various reasons, which means by the end of the season I’ll have only been to 13 of the 19, but it’s still been good value for me because if I’d not had a season ticket and paid for that 13 games by the game it would’ve cost me £680, so missing 6 games it still saved me money
Plus not having the hassle of finding and buying tickets by the game

So basically my point is, well done Mr P, still good value for money, especially compared to what some fans pay

And btw, my neighbour pays £450 for a Gillingham season ticket in league 2😳

Liverpool fans protested yesterday about the price of their tickets. Not sure they can protest when their club can normally do no wrong😉

I'm £750 in the UH with the plus thing added on. I've missed the odd game but we have a mate that lives locally that always takes our tickets if either of us can't make it down from Scotland so it works out pretty good. Easy to transfer it.

Just wish we could see a few more wins at home. Its a long day when the team don't perform, although we are all well used to that!

Especially given that if you were trying to pay game by game for those 13 games the likely hood of getting a seat that wasnt in the AW partially blocked by the TV gantry is pretty slim.

Yes a mate of mines wife has had my ticket if I can’t go and it is really easy to transfer, also it’s easy to put it up for resale
Not that it sold for the games I’ve done it, there was loads of empty seats put up for resale for the Leeds and spammers games, sometimes against certain teams and when the games are switched to Sunday or Monday night you couldn’t even give the tickets away 🤣

Yeah I noticed a lot of empty seats when our form nosedived during that toxic period around February. It does make me wonder about the new corporate stand and effect that will have on prices and attendances.

Most people don't have a bottomless pit of money, I've certainly had to live poorly in other areas in order to follow us on the European tour. When my jeans ripped at the crotch in Florence at 1am and nothing was open it felt a bit symbolic. Having said that I'd happily do it all again next season if we can beat Mk Dons and then Strasbourg/Rayo in the final. I don't think they can realistically raise prices at Selhurst much higher than they are already though due to the state of the ground and associated costs of everything else.

I’m laughing, but it’s true, our home form is pretty bleak

I keep saying it, but in any other form of entertainment, you don’t go to the same s*** restaurant 19 times in 9 months, or go to the cinema to watch the same s*** film 19 times or go to see the same s*** band 19 times in 9 months, yet in football we go along like sheep game after game year in year out 🤣

Do you do that as a day trip? I thought we had a long day!

I do for the Sunday 2pm games as the first train to London doesn't leave Edinburgh till 9am, so we usually get the cheap easyJet or Ryanair early on Sunday then go on the piss all day then fly home in the evening. For the rare Saturday games I usually get the sleeper train down on Friday night then catch the 1800/1830 back up depending on var time/engineering works. Luckily my mate works on the railway too so we get them free or cheap. We've been doing it for years so kind of used to it too. The extra 16/17 conference games have made it a long season travel wise though, but I've enjoyed them a lot. I visited some places I never thought I would see, especially to see Palace there as well. Hopefully it's not a one season wonder and we can win the semi and final and get another season of it.
