● scrap the Home Office and replace it
with a department that works well
for immigrants
● not lock up immigrants unless they are dangerous
● allow them to have public money
where suitable
● let people who are asking to stay
here to be allowed to work here until
their case has been decided.

Pedant point.

Why do politicians think that scrapping a department that is not working well is a solution e.g. scrap the Met Police or Universal Credit.

If history tells us anything than whenever this happens the replacement is normally just as bad, as the new department is still staffed by the same old people so it's just a re-branding PR exercise e.g. Border Force.

If the Greens problem is that they want the HO to approve all asylum claims the just say so and if they are in power change the rules. The HO is inefficient but largely this is down to the laws and rules that the politicians set which complicates life.

If I was Farage I would refuse any asylum application not supported by identity checks and would immediately deport that person.

If I was the Greens I would just tell the HO to rubber stamp every application.

Wow, It must be my imagination but I really though Wales had a coastline do they think they are joined to Eire ? They benefit more than the South East of England, whilst they put in comparatively a few coppers.
 
The point I made about the RNLI is applicable to almost every organisation. most noticeably the police. See how divisive this organisation's actions are, which totally distracts from the cause of this, which is HMG and their policies.

All that shows is the police restricting people's legal right to the public highway and the legal right to protest. There are no banned groups protesting like Palestine Action. If the police left, there would unlikely be any trouble. As it is, the government and police are causing this.

Shops are closed unemploy able youth throwing various missiles at police what must foreigners think they will not want to come here work and pay the tax that funds state pensions.
