Loaned-Out Players

Hes not a right back. Been one of Wednesdays better players since arriving
My bad - a typo; it was Sosa I had in mind as the current reserve that he certainly used to be much better than. I'd love to see him finally get himself back on track and back into our first team squad; there do seem to be promising signs.

Exeter do not seem to be doing too well at the moment. Have concerns for peoples' view of Joe Whitworth.
Goalkeepers are different to outfield , it does change your ability in goal if the defence is failing to stop attacks , unless he is making mistakes its not a issue on a clubs lge position

I witnessed Rak-Sakyi 'Ploughing his furrow' for Stoke last night at Preston.
He was entered into the fray for the start of the second half.
I was not left with the impression that he would make a positive contribution in the PL.
He'd have probably been up against Adaramola next time had the latter not collected a red card today.

Franca is the most obvious example of a failed transfer at the club. Parish ought to have an independent, impartial investigator look into the details - access to all emails between Palace and Franca's club and agent, bank details, company minutes etc. I accept that player acquisition isn't aways an exact science, but one doesn't have to be Sherlock Holmes to deduce that paying big money for an unknown sick note young Brazilian kid of ordinary ability and limited experience and then move him over 5000 miles away from friends and family to play in arguably the most competitive league in the world was very unlikely to end well.

Smells of Textor involvement somewhere alone the line but that is just my guess.

And still only 20.

I think he'll get his chance with us next season. He has consistently performed for Derby, with the only issue being his troubles with injuries. He looked like he'd make it when he first sprang up 3 years ago, looking already physical enough for the PL. The fact that he has nailed down a role as a holding midfielder is also important, as when he was with us, there seemed to be some uncertainty about his best position (a bit like with Devenny).

Glasner said he should be a centre back. Looks like Ozoh has proved him wrong.

Hopefully he has, but every time I see Ozoh play he reminds me of Jairo in that he is physical but slow to react. I can see why OG says centre back is a more natural position.

Southgate started out as a midfielder with us and then converted to CB at Villa.

Right now I see Ozoh as a Championship player.

If we were to think of squad succession, he could take Lerma's place in a year or two. Similar type of player. Physicality feels like it's one of the main attributes required in the Premier League these days.
Ultimately, Ozoh needs to stay injury free now. Any further serious injuries would be a major issue in his development.
