Loaned-Out Players

I would have liked Imray to have a chance with the first team.
He's quick with a good attacking instinct and, watching him at WBA, he has a very good long throw.
Their fans have taken to him.

It would appear that Kphora and Cardines are seen ahead of Imray, but Kphora is perpetually injured.
Cardines has just signed a new contract with the club.

One thing about a new manager is that it will be a fresh start for the players and possibly open up opportunities for one or two.

Could be one that we regret getting rid of.
No one was talking about AWB Ward got injured , couple of years later we got £50m.
From what I’ve seen/heard. I’d keep him for now.
I’m with you, especially as Munoz is so committed and puts himself about, it’s amazing we haven’t lost him more through knocks etc since he’s been with us

He looked great a few times I see him play for Bromley and he did remind me of Munoz, but that was league 2. But out of all our ‘promising’ youngsters I would like to have seen him as cover for Munoz for us, but like all youngsters who get sent out to various clubs on loan, he’s destined for the lower leagues, which is a shame because I really like him
Imray will be the exception IMO. Munoz will be 30 in May so the club may decide to get some decent money for him, especially if the new manager doesn't play with wing-backs. Munoz's contract expires in 2027 but we have a 1 year extension option, I believe.

I'm convinced that he has a future hopefully with us.

I watched the Baggies Millwall game last night. Millwall have a lot of energy but are quite thuggish. I doubt they will get away with a lot of their antics in the PL due to VAR and the ref's being less tolerant for one. Queue victim hood "cos no one likes us."

As for Imray he did okay. He made one great save late in the game, which would have been a certain goal, otherwise. Going forward he offered little as he could not get the better of the Millwall fullback. So not sure how he would do against PL defenders. In fairness to him a lot of Albion's attacks were on the other wing so he did more defending than attacking and defensively he was okay

He did nothing wrong but he's not a patch on Munoz. From what I have seen so far he is a Championship player.

Can you imagine my surprise. 👍

Munoz was a fantastic purchase given what we paid, but he was already an international, Danny is entitled to have a bit longer before being compared to quality player surely?

Yes I think we can expect an offer we can’t refuse from Barca 🙁
