JRS

I saw that, I might be wrong, but he looks like he’s filled out a bit, he doesn’t look quite so lightweight and a puff of nothing like he has in the passed, which is why I thought he’d never make it with us

He is one of a small number of players worth a last look before they move on. So it makes sense to let the new man (sorry person) have as much time as possible by shaking hands with OG if we duck out of the Conference Cup.
Personally I've never been convinced by JRS, but I may need to add that to my list of got wrongs

I would definitely keep him, he is left footed, and give him a pre-season under the new manager before any decision is made, he might just be a late developer, i have always rated his skill but his strength was the problem, still only 23.

Dean Holden his manager at Charlton when he was on Loan 'Waxed lyrical' about his prowess in 1 v 1 situations in terms of his dribbling ability.
Ben Garner, who signed him for Charlton, stated that his biggest asset was his wonderful balance.

Based on this goal (he didn't even get a clean contact on it with his head) I dont really see anything to get worked up about. A Championship goal scored against poor opposition which, lets be honest, was good positioning from him but awful marking from the other team. It was a free header and he still didn't get a solid connection on it.

Most certainly abject defending but credit to JRS for his positioning.
He headed the ball into the ground and this might have contributed to the goal.
I have never heard him praised for his heading prowess.

I bet you thought Maradona was rubbish.

I’ve always thought he’s never going to play top flight football with us, but looking at Brennan Johnson, would JRS be any less involved in games….and he didn’t cost us £35 million, he’s one of our own

JRS another succesful loan spell what does he have to do, he would certainly press average Johnson for his place.

Cardines and Rodney good luck to them but they have not played at this level of football.
