"In English the word "Crystal", when you break it in two you have "Cry" and "Stal" and I believe that's what my job is. To stall the fans from crying." - Liam Rosenior upon signing for us.
The worrying thing is I can actually envisage him saying that!

Can imagine him saying other things too.
"I've got a PA and I'm very fond of lace".
"Eagles are predatory birds which is a hard sell so we should be called The Chickens".
"Selhurst Park? We should rename it The Dreamscape Wonderland of Miracles and Marvel".
"Football is a mysterious business. One of those mysteries being how I've got a job".

I thought most people liked Rosenior at Strasbourg - I presume the hate comes from being Chelsea now?
No hatred from me at all mate.
My opinion is that Rosenior talks shite, was bang average player wise and has absolutely no credentials to be managing a plastic club like Chelsea.
Oh and the tosser played for the weed!
That apart he's probably nice chap.

I don't want Dyche, but it could depend on what budget would be available to a new manager. I can't see Iraola wanting to come to Palace, but if there's little money to spend he's definitely not coming, and that would probably be true of some of the other more attractive candidates. Dyche would probably take the job regardless of a transfer kitty. If the club's ambition is just to stay in the PL then that would probably also work in Dyche's favour. One thing I would say is that Dyche is made for the current trends being seen in the PL with the focus seemingly being on set-pieces and long throws and generally negative football.

Steve Clarke is a championship manager, at best. Sean Dyche is a Premier League manager who should rotate through the promoted clubs when they're struggling - he shouldn't be anywhere near the Palace job.

We have shown ambition with targeting Glasner and it has paid off big time. If we start looking at the Dyche's, Clarke's or Southgate's of this world, that is a huge step backwards in my opinion.

It is rumoured that Dyche has turned us down twice in the past. If that is true no way will Parish go after him.

I like Dyche and I guess I am cynical but I think he would be a safe pair of hands. Back in 1991 our team broke up and we eventually got relegated. I do think there is a real risk of the same happening here.

We may lose 3/4 of our key players this summer on top of losing players we have not adequately replaced in the last few seasons.

I don't want to do a Charlton and think we need to kick on not realising that we are getting weaker.

At least with Dyche we would have a good chance of survival whilst we rebuild. It may not be pretty but I think it would be the safe option.
