Roy's back

Fair play to him. Let's hope he can get better results there beyond our 4-1 defeat under him in the League cup in 2017. I was there and also had to witness/endure Ollie's sweet shop team after promotion demise 4-1 as well. Ashton gate has always been a bit of a graveyard for us, Freddie Sears no goal n Lee Trundles extra time disappointment, poor defeat when we were promoted with Chris Armstrong top scorer ( we whipped them at home). I live in Bristol n really don't want to see Palace there after this history.

Only a short-term appointment of 7 games with the final game just over a month from now.
Two London games, Charlton & QPR so not far from his abode.
No pressure in terms of promotion or relegation.
I wish Mr Hodgson every success.

Bristol City have had a few managers with connections to our club :
Hodgson, Pemberton, Millen, Coppell, Pulis, Burnside.

There is of course an outside chance that he may be encouraged, or even required, to attend training sessions too!
