Manchester United vs. Crystal Palace match thread

No he didn't. He went for the ball and got it, with the player.
He dived in and deliberately took the player out. Went through him to get to the ball and was always going to go through him tackling from that angle. If he’d been sent off there would have been no complaints. Either way the point is it was a much clearer foul and a much clearer goal scoring opportunity yet it got a yellow and today a red. The laws make no sense if that is the outcome

That goal is directly attributable to Lacroix not being on the field.
Canvot fluffs the clearance and fails to challenge for the header.
Not blaming him, but I don't think we concede it with Lacroix in that central area.

I thought Alan Smith was an Arsenal fan, but here he sounds like a United fan suchbischis excitement about their goal.

Well that’s that then. Previous games I’ve been very critical of Glasner and the team. Today we’ve been screwed by appalling officiating. Not really a surprise any more when playing Man Utd. We know football is corrupt from top to bottom. Small clubs get dinged for breaking financial rules but Man City carry on their merry way. Big clubs get clearly biased refereeing but nothing gets said. The ‘narrrative ’ is too important to be called out

Laws are open to how you interrupt them and a lot of these refs use them as they please.

Disgrace from var/officials but what we expect from them standards are so low.

At most it's a foul outside the box and yellow how they have came to the conclusion they have which is game changing reeks of corruption and this has been happening all through this game since Palace first scored with this ref.

Games over now anyway.

Ask yourself what you'd think if that was Sarr being brought down on the edge of the box. Clearly a foul. Never a red though. Very harsh and now the games done.
Exactly. I actually wouldn’t agree with it if given for Sarr (I am against those penalties whoever is involved) but he would definitely go down if the roles were reversed.

Man Utd and Liverpool games get the highest viewing figures for Sky so they have to basically boost them at any opportunity. Why do you think their chosen favourite pundits are Neville and Carragher?
