Manchester United vs. Crystal Palace match thread

We were never going to win this game. It’s Old Trafford so a penalty is guaranteed and they decided to award the game to a referee born in Manchester. The outcome was decided before kick off.

You are more blinkered than usual, so your saying he didn't pull him back?
He had his hand on his shoulder, he didn’t pull him back. You see it every game. It’s a joke that it was a penalty. The foul (if you can call it that) was outside the box. The cheat then dived into the box to win a penalty.
I also don’t understand the double jeopardy rule. Does that only apply to handball or all fouls inside the box? How does it work when a penalty is awarded?

Man Utd and Liverpool games get the highest viewing figures for Sky so they have to basically boost them at any opportunity. Why do you think their chosen favourite pundits are Neville and Carragher?
All this seems to support the Observer article that I posted about earlier today (under Football).

So you can get fouled outside the box and dive into the box and it's a penalty and a sending off?slightest of touches and the var and the ref still give it,I can't believe that this game is so corrupt it's untrue!we were playing the best we've played for weeks until that bulls**t cheating i just hope we can somehow nick a draw and stuff them all!!

If it was a clear goal scoring opportunity why did Cunha dive?
It was a unique situation. Had it been in the box it was a yellow. Because it started outside the box, and it was a denial of a goal, it's a red. Because it started outside the box and continued in it was a penalty. The law is an ASS!!

It works how ever they want it to.

This is the problem they make it up as they see fit.

They can’t have it both ways. The foul was either inside the box or not. It’s like the Canvot handball all over again. It’s basically a cheat code for big teams.

My overriding feeling about this game is that the ref is a c***. Utd are full of c****. VAR is a c*** of a thing. Kamada is a bit of a c***. But we played better than we have for awhile. Ollie is still a turn coat c***. But we wont get relegated and we still have a chance to stick one up those UEFA c**** so may not end up being a total c*** of a season.
