Somebody has just informed me that he watched the game on TNT. The commentator remarked that Glasner asserted words to the effect that Canvot has the 'Hardware' but it was up to Glasner to provide the 'Software'.

There was an idiot who jumped the barriers from the main stand last night during the game and ran towards the holmesdale to goad the HF( defo not Parish 🤣) Stewards missed him initially but eventually he was jumped on! Have no idea who he was or his motive but hopefully he will get a ban from all grounds.

Probably the UEFA representative.

It was a shame to see Sarr fluff his late chance when he was clean through. He should probably have tried running round the mountain they had in their goal. But easy to say lying on the sofa!

Makes me laugh this bit in bold. this is not against you btw 'dreamwaverider', on Sunday v Wolves, Pino misses a 'fairly' decent chance with an attempted lob which went wide, gets slagged off something rotten, but, Sarr misses a 1 on 1 & he 'fluffed' his chance.

I know posters will say that Pino's crap & that Sarr is the better player, scores more goals etc, that's not my point. Point being, different terminology, being used for 2 different players in virtually the same situation.

Fair point, I agree and think it largely happens for two, kind of related, reasons

1.players get legitimate credit in the bank for past performances (as you Sarr scores more goals and is probably the best finisher at the club).

2. Confirmation bias is a thing so people can be quick to judge a mistake more harshly based upon past experience - people will get on Kamada’s back very quickly in a game in a way they wouldn’t for Wharton or Hughes (both of whom have had some pretty poor preferences across the past 3 months).

However much of which is largely subjective. Tbf Sarr is fasting, I think Pino needed a break out of the spotlight - he is one of a few players a bit scarred by what has gone on, I haven’t written him off.
