It's illustrative to contrast his performance to Pino, in that Eze is strong enough to receive the ball and either hold off a challenge or win a free kick.
Pino can do neither of these things when receiving the ball in a similar position.

In fairness Pino never hides and always looks for the ball, but it never happens for him as he usually ends up conceding possession one way or another.
It would be unfair to seek to compare him to Eze, but I'm convinced that Pino is not a left sided front 3 player in a Glasner setup.

Our system is built for Sarr and Munoz on the right and they are built for our system. Tbf to Pino I don’t think we’ve ever figured out how to get the best out of the left, we just got away with it because Mitchell is such a class defender and Eze a £70m player.

Re your first paragraph he looks to be a player who needs space to operate, not confined to a narrow left sided strip of the field where he is continually outmuscled.
I could see him in a free role behind a front 2, but we don't play that way.
Wherever he plays he needs to improve his set pieces.
He regularly fails to clear the first man.

Pino is 23, but Im sure he'll come good.

Whilst he's still making mistakes, he's always keen to get on the ball and influence the game. He's a small lad from a different league, its always going to take some time getting up to speed.
