Whilst I am not defending their policy, because I don’t know enough about the outcomes, I think it’s unfair to try to categorise them as criminals.
My understanding is that they want to decriminalise drug use and handle it as a health issue instead. Removing the profit motive could help reduce use. Apparently it has worked elsewhere, even if at first glance that seems counter intuitive.

The cynic in me says they decriminalise. Sell it and tax it. The problem is much like all new taxes hmg whichever colour will not want to lose the tax take as they get used to it. Labour could be wiped out this week but the important thing is do they listen or are they not for turning.
Greens have a good local candidate in Hannah Spencer, she is already getting abuse from the rattled right.
Clearly driving a petrol car is Epstein territory, she also had the nerve to take a holiday..
