Glasner Out

OG has lost his enthusiasm, spirit, team and the majority of the supporters.

The question is ….why does he not just do the decent thing and resign? He can’t be short of money, and I’m sure he’ll get another job quickly.

At this moment, I’d even welcome back Roy & Ray 🥹
TBH Roy would play a better style with this squad and win games.

He has to play 4-4-2 tomorrow, he has the players to do it. Winds me up when he says they tried and didnt work, as quoted by Roy Kent "its the formation that these players have been playing since they were kids"

Henderson
Muñoz Richards Riad Mitchell
Sarr Hughes Wharton Pino
Guessand Larsen

I was also a firm believer that Parish would keep while we are still in Europe, as thought his "expeirence" would see us through, but after Thursday if we have any chance of making the later rounds it cant be with him.
He's not going too. Its going to be very a long and laborious slog tomorrow...

In regards to firing a manager do you just pay the rest of their salary (in this case the next three months) or are clubs also required to pay compensation? Is firing him now more expensive than keeping him on?
Whatever it would cost to pay the last 3 months say a million, would be offset by getting someone who can finish us higher up the table. I think it’s around a million per position. If we lose tomorrow he should be gone by teatime but hopefully before that happens someone talks a bit of sense into him and he knuckles down to the job. If he can restore confidence in the team and get more out of Munoz and Johnson we can still finish top ten and win the Conference .

I think the reason Glasner hasn't gone is that they have a replacement lined up who can't take over until next season, meaning most likely they are at another club currently. And rather than appoint an interim they want to sweat it out with Glasner.
Would Paddy not be okay as interim until next season .

To bring an ex England manager back into the fold is a very Parish thing to do (think Hodgson, Allardyce) so a Southgate interim appointment doesn't seem an outrageous suggestion, particularly in the light of his Palace connections.
What would be in it for Southgate?
I suppose it would re-introduce him to management after his sabbatical and put him back in the spotlight.
Fairly low risk for him too as we're unlikely to need more than a couple of wins and a few draws to secure safety.
Europe would almost be a free hit.
If he did well it would put him in the shop window for a job with bigger clubs in the summer.
He doesn't seem to lack confidence that he's an elite manager even if this is wrapped up in a cloak of false modesty.

Personally I don't want to see it happen as, to use Roy Keane's term , I see Southgate as a 'bluffer.'
But if Glasner is to go I see an out of work Southgate as very Parish like appointment.

I have a feeling that this really is a make or break day, a bit like Scooby Doo when they enter the creaky old house something is about to happen.

If we lose today, which I think is odds on given our appalling form and mental state, then I can see Parrish sacking Glasner tonight and appointing Southgate interim manager till end of the season.
The Parrish brigade will be straight on here calling anyone who says anything against him bedwetters and how great it is in the Championship.
He should have gone weeks ago.

Regardless of if we win loose or draw. This should be the outcome.

Get Southgate in. Someone who actually wants to be here.
