Right there was the moment to show him the door. As soon as you have a Manager who says that he 'doesn't care' if he's at a club or not then his position becomes untenable and he needs to be dismissed.

Exactly! I don't especially blame Glasner to be honest. Everyone knows his interest in Palace died long ago, but he's happy to take his pay cheque. The club hierarchy however have been extremely negligent in allowing this situation to happen.

Glasner’s singular dimension approach caused havoc last season and worked perfectly for us as a club trying to punch above it’s weight. Winning the FA Cup is surely the best we could have hoped for and this was delivered. Forever grateful.

The issue with Glasner’s singular dimension is all clubs, big or small, eventually figure it out and have an answer for it, regardless of quality. It’s actually far less effective against lesser teams as it focussed upon countering better quality opposition.

Thus we have a highly effective but unsustainable methodology. Highly effective for a short period and delivered perfectly for us, but now ineffective.

Glasner won’t change and understandably doesn’t want to be herel as it’ll leave his reputation badly damaged as he continues with his ineffective approach. The players, club and fans will continue to suffer whilst he is.

I can’t see any reason for keeping him on but I don’t run the club. They’ll have their reasons I’m sure but we’ll continue to suffer in the meantime. What long term damage will be done is anyone’s guess.
 
There’s something seriously wrong at our club and it won’t begin to be fixed until Glasner goes. If he stays we will be relegated. Surely our owners can see the same as us. As it stands our two highest ever purchases will be playing in the championship. Thats unless our club goes under because we can’t afford to run anymore? Dyche might just keep us up if brought in now? Not sure I like that idea but needs must :-(

Surely Parish w0uld have to pull the trigger then. The fact that Forest - a team below us in the table - just won 3-0 at a team second in the Turkish League and we scraped a draw at a team second in the Bosnian League says it all

That was my thoughts as well. I suppose we could go with Canvot, Richard’s and Riad? Another manager would just play a back four with four in midfield and two up front. But Glasner wouldn’t know how to do that :-(

What is this "four at the back" of which you speak?
4 4 2? What fresh madness is this?

We don’t seem to be able to unlock a team that plays defensively and relies on a quick break away. Eze used to provide the solution but we don’t have the equivalent so why don’t we start firing the ball into the box a bit more to serve Larsen

Not sure it’s because Glasner has been found out but more to do with the team doesn’t want to play for him or even understand what he wants them to do. The players are all over the place turning up in positions on the pitch completely out of their normal positions? The players look completely lost?
