it is my firm belief that the English Championship is a very tough league and very good by European standards.
Just imagine seeing a decent Championship side competing in the Europa League next year ? mouth watering.

Are you mad or still drunk from last night? By dropping out of the Premiership the clubs spending abilty falls through the floor. Still playing in Europe won't help much with attracting quality players to join us. Or keeping the ones we have already as they will be unaffordable and will want to play in the Premiership or elsewhere in Europe.

What I don’t understand is, if, as you say, it is difficult to attract players if you are in the Championship, then how exactly do they get players like Olise, Eze, Wharton etc in the first place?

I would say you are only as good as your recruitment/scouting team no matter what division you are in. Ours is now pretty crap I reckon.

Has to be the Premier League for me. I think it’s such a long way back if you drop down to the championship - as Leicester, Southampton, Sheff Utd etc demonstrate.

Stay up - and squad rebuild in the summer and we will all have sunnier days to look forward to.

Just checking the odds and I cannot believe we are 3/1 favourites to win the Conference League. Have these bookies actually watched us play lately ? I doubt we will even get through against Zrinjski, who by the way are worth 28 points in scrabble.

The away leg looks a potential banana skin. Then our home form - enough said.
The 15/2 on offer for Mostar looks a little tempting. Can't see us going all out for a win over there.

We have ever since the COnference started, been quoted as THE favorite. Why? I would love to have a go, but PL far more important. If OG f...chs up our next two games I think Steve P. has no other option than saying bye-bye...

Has to be survival in the PL. Whilst I like the concept of Euro matches associated with a better status thus, theoretically better players and so on, relegation would scupper just about everything. I also cannot see how we were&are still favourites for the Conf. League. Even for the away leg at Zrinjski they only need to set-up to allow us possession and a favourable outcome for them is assured. It's not rocket-science tactics.

Has always to be Prem survival. The league is always your bread and butter. Though I dont believe we will struggle to stay up.

on dating apps, many pretty women say they want to be married with kids to "George Clooney or nothing"....and they often end up aged 43, with nothing.

C'mon Dogburger......The genie is ready with his magic wand.....choose one.

My choice : European silverware. Cos nobody remembers when Stoke or Wigan or Hull were a force in the Prem.

Big clubs that never win anything...Everton and until recently Tottenham (and then they sacked Ange Postelegoupoupolous ).

So for us, no podium champagne, no glory.
I remember when Stoke, Wigan, and Hull were forces in the Prem. Pure Barclay’s football heritage that 😂 the streets will never forget! Although I do agree with your point, a trophy is always worth more than just surviving.

There's 3-1 on the draw - so I took that. And a covering bet on a win for them. Maybe even soften the blow of a sh1t performance and won't care if I lose a few euro if we win.
Do you know whether there’s any Away Goals rule in this game?
