Its not that simple tho is it, it was only a few weeks ago they drew away at Liverpool and at home to utd, this is the most competitive league in the world. Yeah we should be favourites but just expecting us to completely dominate anyone in this league is unreasonable.

I do not have data on injuries but none of their top 14 used players were over 28 years old that season so they probably did not have enough experience to counter adversity. Ramsdale played 37 games, a lot for a 21 year old goalkeeper

I do. I was very pissed off with his tantrum after the Sunderland game and expected him to be sacked for it, but Parish did what he thought was best for the club and he's probably right. The storm has now been ridden out by and large. No need to rock the boat. Let other clubs come under the spotlight and handle it. Brighton look like they're stewing nicely. Forest too. West Ham might have turned a corner but they are only ever one defeat away from monumental levels of bickering. Our comparative stability is worth about a four or five point swing in our favour most seasons.

The manager will be changed in the summer anyway, and we'll have far more options at that time. No need to force ourselves into a rush on that decision now.

I'm surprised Glasner survived his public outburst, but now that has settled, and we got the win at Brighton, I just can't see him going. There is a valid argument that he is inflexible when we have injuries, but he has demonstrated that when he has a full squad to pick from we're a force to be reckoned with. Providing that doesn't change, I think we'll now pull away from the bottom three, putting us in a strong position to fully focus on Europe, which we clearly weren't doing before.

I’ve never been concerned about us going down this season, even before the Brighton win.

It’s the most predictable and explainable bad run I can recall us having - results were always going to pick up when the key players returned and the fixture congestion eased.

Maybe Glasner could have done more in moments to win a couple more points, but it is very speculative, and I think the squad issues far, far outweigh any perceived tactical or selection errors on Glasner’s part.

No. If he doesn’t get the MU job it means he is not good enough especially after his failure at Middlesbrough. OG was a winner before he came to Palace and we need another one or at least someone with experience in a top league.

Sorry, yes, I meant before the end of the season. Based on previous comments he's made, I'm not sure he's ever really fully settled in England, regardless of what has been going on at the club. Personally, I think he'll end up back in Germany, but who knows.

Until the shopping frenzy this window, he had achieved this with a net positive outlay on transfers, while losing generational talents like Olise and Eze.

Whether you like the guy or not, it really is quite remarkable.
