Lerma does well to fill in there when called upon

We basically need to pray neither of our two established CBs Richards and Lacroix don't pick up any injuries or need a rest. Otherwise that back 3 is gonna start creaking badly. They got stretched enough by 10 man Forest on Sunday!

The real worry for me in this window is that our two new record signings have suffered a goal drought recently and gained their reputation in a previous season,either the downward spiral in their fortunes in front of goal will continue or a renaissance coinciding with being signed by Palace. which is it?

That’s a nuisance. I would’ve liked to have moved Eddie on for that sort of money and tried someone else. Eddie was not a good buy for us.

True, I was trying to remember the old school set up and got carried away fitting our new players in.

I think it was one centre half. I get the feeling it was Scotland who pioneered it.
