Where the F**K was all this money in the summer!

Only Palace would lose there most successful manager because they wont spend then when he announces he is going go and spend more than we have ever spent on players being picked by god knows who for a the manager who god knows who he is.

And… only Palace would have the pick of a front line attacking set of: Mateta (not going by the looks of it) The Strand, Eddie the Injured, Uche the lump and not one of them seems to score a f***ing goal.

I love being a Palace fan.

100%.

What is going on - makes zero sense to be on a spending spree in this window.

and I don’t se anyone of them as a “typical Palace” signing.
and where is the replacement for Marc!
It's bizarre isn't it. Spending money that we didn't seem to have before, on positions we don't necessarily need, with large fees for average players. It's like we've watched West Ham's approach to transfers in recent years and thought let's do that.

what the hell has happened? Where did all this money come from? If we get the Strand and McNeil plus Johnson etc… where did all that money come from and why all of sudden? So strange
Probably PSR, we’re only allowed to lose £105 million over a three year period, maybe we would’ve breached that back in the summer? But we’re okay now?

Looking forward to a subs bench including Mateta, Nketiah, Pino, Johnson and Guessand.
Glasner won’t be able to complain about a lack of attacking options!

hope so but i think Sarr, Johnson and Guessand are quite similar players. All 3 have pace and are better when running into space. Against low blocks and when they receive the ball with their backs to the goal they are less effective.

Hopefully Eddie and Mateta are fit enough for the bench too!

I’d say Eze money plus Guehi money plus anything else available.
It needs to be done. Before those 2 plus Olise, we had not done big outgoing transfers in quite a while.
If this had been done last summer as it should have been in preparation for proper European football, we would not be in the current situation🫣

When you look at the total we spend just over more for incoming then selling those 2 players.

Guehi we got around 15m max because Chelsea was to receive 20-25% of the 20m City paid.

Eze 60m going upto 65m with addons.

Players coming in BJ (35m) - Pino (25m) - Canvot (20m) these don't include the clauses for likes of Uche & Gussand [we threw away 2-5m on Sosa]

As per normal we leave it to last day, and pray things happen.

To me it seems absurdly chaotic.

We are going to end up as a team of individuals / misfits. Reminds me of when we got promoted and signed something like 15+ players.

It takes time to gel a team which is why you buy more players in the summer. Winter transfer window is for minor amendments not wholesale changes.

We don't have the luxury of having games to gel the team and bed in players.

Once again shambolic planning.
