Trump announces plan to hit UK, Denmark and other European countries with extra tariffs over Greenland

Trump realised some time ago that the European economies are generally screwed and their leaders mostly part of the globalist club whose instincts are all personal self protection.

It matters not at all what the personal relationships are on an individual basis.

Trump knows that the USD is mightier than the gun so to speak, he can push trough his agenda using economic weapons. He needs to balance the interests of US business at the same time which is tricky.

Like him and his methods or not, he is generally effective.

He comes out with some despicable nonsense such as inferring UK troops were not frontline in Afghanistan, but who cares and in a short period of time focus will be on something else he says

I don't think he's really got anything more on the Greenland deal really.....just a lot of unnecessary drama.

He seems to be making progress on Ukraine, but I'm hearing that there are two issues left (nuclear power plant and remaining Donbas area) with the latter a major sticking point.

What does this mean? This week DJIA has moved in a small range, S and P same.

Relatively speaking the US S&P 500 is up just less than 6% over the last year, most other indexes are plus 20%, including the FTSE 100.

Bottled it on tariffs. Caused a stock market fall with 45% of American's (including him) owning equity.
