Next Manager?

Think it will be Frank - once he's fallen out of Spurs. If that happens soon, does SP shake OG's hand and move on sooner?
Otherwise Bordalas from Getafe getting some mention. Apparently plays tight and compact (bit more Roy) but just going on what I've read.
My third guess is Dyche once the fat Greek gets fed up with him.
Frank or Getafe good possibles, Dyche no - too pragmatic, bit like a Roy

Like I said in another post, brighton deal with it every other season. It was the end of Brentford, they're currently 5th with a striker who's already got 16 league goals.

Instead of being sad its over, be happy it happened, who knows where we will finish and still have a European trophy to play for. Exciting times ahead.

Top post couldnt agree more👍 No point in being bitter and spoiling the enjoyment of what we have experienced. We were close to being a top 4 side with Olise especially and Eze but they wanted to leave for the very top clubs, OG will also get a top appointment. Its what happens when you have the very best at your club which SP has made happen. Our profile has increased and we are only 5 points off 5th place. We are practically safe from relegation with still half the season left, when has that happened previously? All is not lost. Lets get behind the manager and team as usual. We might even achieve some more success this season? Up the Palace

Since Bert Head we've had, including temps and fill-ins, very nearly 50 managers. We've survived relegations, administration, dodgy chairmen, stars leaving, dreadful signings and Alan Mullery. And yet we're still here. Usually pissed off but still here.

I wonder how things would have worked out if Colonel Gaddafi or his son had taken over the club????:drunk:George Bush would have bombed the stadium. feel free to move this post to main stand redevelopment thread.

Defo Paddy McCarthy needs a go

Like Arteta from Pep, Paddy has been learning from Glasner -

Wonder If Parish will opt for Paddy OR has he decided to go to as part of OG coach staff ?

Not a bad shout. I think Paddy if not appointed the new manager, the club may ask the new manager to retain him? I dont know whether Paddy could step-up.

I think Steve needs a forward plan on this in that he & OG have jointly agreed that Paddy be “ groomed” to take over in the next 2-4 months

But new coaching staff / assistants also be sort after to support Paddy

I worry if This is not on the table Paddy will go to another club in Championship

Think Paddy is still part time coach with the Rep of Ireland team so it wouldnt really suit , he would have to give up one or the oher . I could be wrong though , feel free to correct me if i am .

He bottled it against Croatia in 2018
He bottled it against Italy in 2021
He bottled it against France in 2022
We all knew he'd be too negative against Spain in 2024
He tries to score a single goal and then sits back and defends it. With some of the most deadly attacking players in the World and an average defence.
His only venture into Premiership football was to take a very strong Middlesborough team down.
He is tactically clueless. Our England team reached two finals despite Southgate not because of him.

The more I think about it, I can't see that Brennan Johnson would have signed if there wasn't a replacement in place.

Part of getting a player to sign is painting a picture of their future at the club.
