Media is having a go at Starmer for keeping his head down over Venezuela, Iran, Cuba and the like.

Actually I am quite glad he is. I have no love for the Iranian regime but it's not our problem, despite what various exiles are urging.

We need to focus on our own problems not get tangled up in other people's.

It kind of is our problem. They fund terrorism globally.

Any attack would be against the Muslim Brotherhood, not the country. Iran was once Westernised and liberal.
The people want to be rid of the current regime, and removing them would also do the West a big favour. One caveat is that there has to be a stable alternative government to replace it. We don't want another power vacuum.

I wouldn't object to military action before Iran inevitably get the bomb.

We helped with the tanker the other day which was a first I think.
 
Great news yes, clowns also yes.
No plan, no conviction of maybe they are actually clever in that they throw this crap out to us to create distractions while the serious business of wrecking our country continues apace in the background.

Why doesn't TFL pay for this?

I'm serious it doesn't make sense. TFL are responsible for charging passengers and also give concession's e.g. kids, people on certain benefits and asylum seekers (I think) . TFL raise revenue by passing on their costs to the local councils tax bill but expects local councils to pay for the Freedom Pass.

Surely it would make more sense for TFL to be responsible for the whole thing?
