She would not have been shot if she had got out of her car as legally ordered to do.

Anyone dispute that?

As some one else said, the Manchester airport police assault is a comparative, all the usual suspects jumped on the police brutality bandwagon when the truth was the opposite.

This was a traffic violation gone badly wrong. But the emphasis is really on the drivers actions, and also whether there was previous interaction with officers earlier.
When I've had police pointing firearms at me, I've done exactly as instructed. Because in the heat of the moment, i don't want my actions to result in a firearm discharge. That way I'm still around to argue the toss with the Judge at a later date.

If 'accelerating' is moving from a standing start to something like less than 2 mph. Yup: a real threat to life. We'll notice, too, that the front wheels showed she was turning to the right (at snail's pace), away from the agent.

Again I have said it was wrong BUT why had her wife encouraged her to confront ICE Officers ( her words not mine)? Why put yourself in a position of confrontation in the first place?

I'm not at all sure that 'All will be revealed in the fullness of time'. All will be swept aside is my guess. But that's ok; there's no 'two-tier' justice in the USA, is there.

I don't imagine that she thought, for a second, that someone would murder her. So, in that respect, it turned out to be a catastrophic misjudgement, for sure.

Ashley Babbitt was murdered walking up stairs and she wasn't driving a car in an agent's direction.

But she wasn't left wing so none of you cared.
