Was this same ICE officer who was almost killed by a car a few months ago and dragged along the street? (I've not confirmed this just seen a few reports on it)

Perhaps this explains why he was very quick to take his gun out?

New york post has reported on it:

Still don't know if it's true or not. Grok says it's unconfirmed.

The truth will never be tested in court as the shooter will be granted immunity from prosecution and civil suit. Local law enforcement have already been banned from investigating the shooting.
As is the president’s right. It’s all academic.
Yup.

It'll be put to bed. As, indeed, it is the President's right.

It's fascinating to see, though, how viewing the same footage brings so many people to have conflicting interpretations about what they've seen.

The gunman walked off down the street tooled up alone in the snow and a woman shouted 'shame on you' which he dismissed with disdain.

He got in his unmarked white van, and spotting a pedestrian as an obvious 'leftie', swerved and ran him off the road, seriously.

'Absolute immunity' - J.D.Vance

The main points counting against the driver, is that she willingly put herself in a situation in conflict with armed officers of the law. She drove her vehicle to an area where armed police were known to be operating and drove like a c-unit.
The perfect storm followed her obstructive parking.
She disobeyed officers instructions and drove towards one of them, who just happened to be Clint Eastwood on Magnum Force duty.
Of course it wasn't proportionate. But this nothing situation was entirely of her own making

I can see other like-minded people thinking, "I know, why don't we have a big protest about police following orders ? It'll be great. what can go wrong ?"

Grok’s too busy making child p***. Says a lot that you’re still using it.

Smells like a desperate attempt by the online right to try and find any small crumb they can cling to so they can justify extra judicial murder to themselves.

I can see both sides. The force used by the officer was perhaps excessive. But we don't know the intent of the driver, and now we never will.
The Federal investigation is likely to absolve the ICE agent. But that's how politics influences the judiciary in the USA.

He shot her multiple times in the head through the windscreen when she was trying to drive away.

‘Perhaps excessive’.

The vehicle is stationary and the gunman is at the front when he shoots her through the front screen, then goes to the side and fires twice more.

Hold on to that video, as the state will use all methods to grab it.

The only regime that actually needs changing, and has done for many years, is the rotten corrupt United States of America.

They have might, but the whole world now knows they are utter sh*te.

😎
So you don’t think the Iranian regime needs changing? Venezuelans were all happy with their regime? Showing your true colours here Steeley, hopefully DanH will criticise your comment

For context, the US administration has called Renee Good's actions "domestic terrorism" and have claimed that she was trying to strike an ICE officer with her vehicle."

Blatantly obvious from the footage, eh lads?
But this is the point I tried to make are previously, we don’t know what happened prior to her getting in the car. I have already said the shooting was disproportionate and appears to be totally wrong but what had she done prior to this?

Local law enforcement complaining that the FBI will not allow them to investigate.

Critics are saying this is so Trump can skew the inquiry in his favour.

Of course local politicians and local police have been against ICE from the start of this operation so if they were to investigate no doubt they would also be be bias.

So take you pick, it's going to be difficult to get a non biased investigation.

Not sure who’s worse on here, those desperately trying to pretend the video that the world has seen doesn’t show exactly what everyone clearly sees that it does, or those trying to justify it by saying she somehow deserved it - ‘FAFO’.

Absolute sewer. Still, at least we get to see posters’ true colours.

RIP to the poor woman and desperately sorry for the poor child now growing up motherless.
Apologies, we forgot that your interpretation of events is the correct one.
.
Move along, no arrogance to be seen here

Are you crossing your fingers that the dead woman is Jewish?

A judge should appoint a mixed enquiry team.

i can see both sides. The car driver posed a risk to the officers as she was accelerating her vehicle towards the officer that shot her. The intent of the driver (who equally, may have panicked) is one we can't establish. The officer identified a threat (to life), as she accelerated to wards him.
This was a traffic violation gone badly wrong. But the emphasis is really on the drivers actions, and also whether there was previous interaction with officers earlier.
When I've had police pointing firearms at me, I've done exactly as instructed. Because in the heat of the moment, i don't want my actions to result in a firearm discharge. That way I'm still around to argue the toss with the Judge at a later date.
It looked like maybe she'd watched too many Dukes of Hazard episodes.

There are no buts, mate.

This action was heinous and the agent should be held fully accountable by the force of the law.

What could she have done previous to this that would justify what happened here? The agents didn't approach the vehicle with arms drawn, as if she was wanted for a previous crime, did they.

Sorry mate. In my opinion, there are no 'buts'.

We know, too, that there is no 'two-tier' justice in Trump's US so, of course, the agent will be called to account.

Don't we?
