Leading to us finishing with a 3 point lead over Leeds on the finish of the day.

In a previous press conference Glasner indicated he would use more or less two different teams for the Thursday fixture and the Leeds fixture as there was less than 48 hours between the two games.
I still imagine at least one or two of the centre backs will feature in both though.

Rotating helps prevent injuries to our core Prem players. So even apart from fatigue, its essential while we are still in 4 competitions. And honestly, if our B squad cannot finish off the Finnish pub team, at Selhurst, then i really would despair.

Assuming Devenny injured

There has to be some kind of compromise team and this is it.

Do you start with the B team and hope they either keep it tight and then throw on the first team to nick it 1-0

Or start strong and try and get the lead and then subs and try to hang on and hit on the break?

We don't have two full teams

I am sure KuPS will be tough and tricky to break down

Feel we should start with the second choice team and give them a go - only bring on any first teamers if we still need a goal come 55-60 minutes. Maximise the rest the first teamers get - while giving the B team the best chance of showing what they can - hopefully - do !

Lacroix has played every minute of every game so far, and remarkably he doesn’t even look half as tired as some of his teammates do.

I suspect he would be one of the exceptions to the 48-hr rule.

Against Leeds we might face their current first choice goalkeeper Lucas Perri, whom Mr Hodgson signed on Loan from Sao Paulo in season 2018-19.
At the time we had Guaita, Speroni and Hennessey on our books and Perri never played a game for us.
