Fulham vs. Crystal Palace match thread

whats a player doing out that late before a lge game so dont think its Munoz
You dont have to look too hard to find there are other 29-year-old international players based in London.

Some have more time on their hands than Munoz and are more likely to be out in the west end on a Friday evening.

Daniel seems to be of good character to me, I don’t think he has ever been suspected of criminal behavior before now.

Just listening to the post match analysis. Clinton Morrison talking about the Fulham player being offside. I would loose count the amount of times Clinton was offside in a game when he played for us 🤣

That's how he became an expert

I really like his co-commentary. Normally I'm driving Sunday afternoons and he often does an early game. And the main commentator said a couple of weeks ago that Clinton can spot offsides - right or wrong - immediately and every time with total accuracy

Champions League football and more $$$$

Liverpool are far bigger club as well it's the same reason why people go to United.

Even if by some miracle Palace won the Prem they still wouldn't be classed as big (small club mentality)

I wonder what the Southgate era will be like next season
Liverpool have missed the boat . It doesn't look like they will even be in the CL next season . Madrid free transfer target Konate is having a nightmare so it wouldn't surprise if the Spanish giants change their minds and go for Guehi .

It was a strange watch . We just are not looking right at the moment and are misfiring as soon as we get into the final third . We were the better side though , they didn't really have a clear chance in the second half where we had two or three .So well done 3 points and COYP!

Great win, could easily have gone against us with that narrow offside and at times Fulham had us on the back foot. Harry Wilson's goal was top drawer also (really good player).

But great staying power and to keep looking for the win in the latter stages when we could have sat back says something really positive about this team.

It felt like our passing was better than the last couple of games. We didn't seem to tire quite as much and we got early subs from Glasner. I'm genuinely surprised he did it. I think Uche looks like he'd be a future good player. I'm not sure what the clause is but I would think we should consider it. At his age, a season or two and he could maybe be a good investment. I know there are no guarantees.

10 starts in any competition to be obligated.

The Guardian described Wharton as quietly brilliant, which sums it up for me... Great team performance, but still a very tight game, Fulham were good value and would have been happy with a point.

Strangely felt myself thinking a good game was had by Sam Barrott (I know).

Also shout to Clyney who put in a great shift and even managed a comedy defender in the box moment.

COYP

'Futbol de Inglaterra' a south american Spanish speaking website are saying its Muñoz, i hope they are wrong.

I hang my head in shame. Oh ye of little faith. Willo will you also offer your apologies?

We will miss Marc., JPM and maybe Oliver too but how in blazes did we win that?

Pino has talent but isn't he the most maddening ever? (Apart from Kamada)

New players needed

Full marks to the Palace crowd, never stopped throughout and I am glad Eddie gave his shirt to his young lady admirer
If many have concluded that my incessant predictions of woe apropos the game today have been tedious in the extreme and I had become a pain in the derrière then I apologise unreservedly.

I am so delighted that my judgement was so flawed.
Jolly well done to the team and management. 👍 👍 👍

In his post match SKY interview, Glasner said he didn't see the Guehi winner because he arranging to bring Esse on for Pino to send the message that we're still trying to win the game. When he realised that we'd scored he sent Devenny instead. Looks like Esse may well get some minutes over the next 6 weeks and Uche will get more.

Glasner explained in detail why Munoz was sidelined due to a swollen knee. I don't think he would have gone into such detail if there had been another reason that would have come to light sooner or later.

Depends whether it became swollen because he forcibly shoved it at pace into the groin of an irritating little twerp

I mean hopefully not
