Strasburg - Tickets / Travel / Accommodation / Meeting points / Local knowledge

1586 allocation is far smaller than I expected. I've already booked flights and an Airbnb so will be heading over regardless. Hoping to try and get a ticket somewhere in the home end but if not I imagine they'll be loads of Palace watching it in bars over there anyway.

It would be very interesting to see how many people are in each point allocation category, it would at least give some kind of indication of how likely it is for anyone to get a ticket....this would apply not just for the Strasbourg match but for every match and allow a little more certainty when it comes to planning travel and accommodation.

CPISA have obtained the following information from the club this evening- The club have stated that they have not managed to secure a venue for ticket collection in Strasbourg. So they have opted to spot check tickets at the turnstiles instead.
All names and client references will be printed on the tickets. If they do not match with the ID shown, the club will BAN the person named on the ticket. Refusal to show ID will mean the supporter will be refused entry to the stadium.

The club have specifically said no passport checks on the night, so therefore no necessity to carry any identification! The club only released the details today and omitted to mention the above. If they are going to ban people then they need to officially release some information clarifying the above.

Eagle Eddie you are correct. The club clearly stated when posting the selling details and selling phases for Strasbourg that no passport details would be required to purchase tickets or needed at the ground. We are trying to get this clarified by the club following the details released this evening.

Tickets sold out already. Given the process with Fredrikstad and Lublin, I find this slightly hard to believe.

The sales run didn't even get to 10,000+ points required. So all 1,586 were bought straight out of the gate by people with 11,000+ points? Is that plausible? Something isn't right about this.

Indeed....

Do the charterflights have anything to do wih that? 2 full planes would be roughly half the allocation though it did not seem to be a certain that you'd get a matchticket with the plane booking.
And they've probably given the HF a few hundred.
I've hardly missed a home game in 15 years and got nowhere near a ticket. I'm going on Thursday night but that's it for me with the European games.

Shame I was desperate to go to this one as it was the only away fixture that I could make. Still don't understand why the allocation was so low. Thinking to still go anyway and hope something comes about.

I assumed a ticket was included in the package. It wouldn't really make sense if not. I might be wrong though.

They are, unlike us, renovating/building a new stand and think capacity is about 26k during renovations. UEFA rules staes a minimum of 5 percent so that explains it.

Shame, I had booked of work and planned travel too but with a mere 5k points that is not coming off. Feel a bit stupid for having hoped.....

Ah didn't know about the renovations. Fair enough. How annoying. I guess it's a consequence of the conference league. Likely to player lesser teams with smaller stadiums and therefore lower allocations. Still hoping for something to come about 🤞

I went onto the Strasburg website and it looks easy enough to buy tickets in the home end. I think at the moment only the 2 match pack is on sale 80 euro tho 😲

Not sure where they are doing this as home tickets seem available in most parts of the ground

I know it's a long shot but if anyone has a valid French bank card for getting tickets in the home end then I would gratefully appreciate if you could help me out. I'll transfer you the money instantly.

I wonder would a european prepaid card do the trick?
