US Politics

And this is the guy who calls Andrew Torba the extremist.

By their fruits you shall know them.
Andrew Torba is an extremist. Only this morning he is calling for his supporters to fight.

All I have said is that some people will feel relief if Trump died a natural death. That’s hardly unusual if you profoundly believe, as many do, that he is a danger to us all.

I expressed nothing personally. For the record I hope that Congress wakes up and removes him because that would restore my faith in the ability of American democracy. Him dying would see him immediately replaced by Vance, which could prove even worse. Congress removing him would enable the whole corrupt edifice to be examined.

Clear now?

Excuse me? Are you seriously agreeing with the sign and happy with the death of another human being?

I think you have just lost whatever small credibility you had left which wasn't much.

I on the other hand wish Joe Biden well with his treatment for cancer.
No!

Having any credibility with someone like you is not something I would welcome.

As I also have the same condition that Biden has I obviously wish him well. It’s life limiting but not anything that stops life being enjoyable.

Wishing for someone's death, even from natural causes, is vile and dehumanising. It is a toxic sentiment that fuels division and erodes any shred of decency in a person. Shame on you for making excuses.

Along with Biden I wish you well with your condition.

Who suggested anyone wished it? They might regard it as unfortunate for the person and those close to him but fortuitous for the rest of the world. It’s not the least toxic. It’s a perfectly natural human emotion. One that I fully expect exists on the right too over those they think negatively influence their lives.

There’s no need for any excuses, but obviously a need for an explanation.

So you do wish it just don’t profess it. just more word salad

You twist it into something "natural" while ignoring its toxicity.
Wishing harm even indirectly poisons discourse and dehumanises. No explanation justifies it maybe you can reflect on that. 👍🏻

Rather than divert the BBC thread I’ll post this here. This is for everyone seriously interested in US politics and particularly the current state of Trump’s health and where it’s taking us.

It’s an interview with Dr John Gartner, who is a psychologist and previously a professor at John Hopkins but now an author and activist. He is concerned. So ought we all be:-

More concerned than we should have been about Biden of course.

Gartner has TDS and has never examined Trump, only fellow TDS cult members will find anything in this

The FBI have announced they have foiled an international terrorist plot in the USA.

Details are scarce but they will be making an announcement later.
What happened?

As far as I can tell there was no announcement I am guessing someone must have hoaxed MSM because several outlets carried the story. This wasn't an announcement by someone on social media who lives in their mum's basement.

More concerned than we should have been about Biden of course.

Much more concerned. A hundred times more!

Biden had a team around him who could be trusted. His was a genuinely collegiate administration. Nothing stupid would have happened under Biden. Yes, he ought to have stood down earlier and his ill health was doubtless being disguised but that didn’t produce any real risk. Why it was done is another question.

Trump is on a completely different level. He is dangerous himself but is surrounded by people, such as Stephen Miller and Vance, who are possibly even more dangerous, together with a bunch of ars* licking sycophants who are nonentities.

Perhaps.

On the other hand, I recall the head of MI5 stating that dozens of plots had been stopped by them, but none made the news.

This is a different story to your repeated assertions of his wisdom and that allegations there was anything wrong with him were a Republican plot.
