Why have Macabbi Tel Aviv decided not to accept tickets? I smell a strong whiff of political pressure on them from their government. Trying to frame Israelis as victims is very much part of their tactics at the moment and this has presented them with an opportunity to do so.

Now let’s see if the Netanyahu government suggests that all the money that the fans will save on airfares and hotels is donated to charities providing support to the victims of the war in Gaza and that the time they now have free is spent assisting in the loading of aid trucks.

The more you say this kind of thing the greater your ignorance of what anti-Semitism really is becomes apparent.

You seem to think that any kind of opposition to, or criticism of, the Israeli government is anti-Semitic.

It isn’t. If it was then 70% of the population of Israel is anti-Semitic. As 75% of Israel’s population is Jewish this means there are a lot of anti-Semitic Jews living in Israel.

Well you are putting collective blame on the football fans for what's been happening in Gaza. They are not responsible for the actions of their government.

I am putting no blame of any kind on individual fans for what’s happening in Gaza and to suggest so is a complete misunderstanding, or misrepresentation.

I, nor you, have any idea what those fans think. They will probably be as split in the opposition to the Netanyahu government as the population as a whole are.

What I actually suggested was that the Israeli government could have leaned on the club to refuse tickets as a way of diverting the narrative. It was merely speculation on my behalf.

Wigan is Labour, but is running scared of Reform. It has a small Muslim population.

By contrast, Jess Phillips represents part of Birmingham. Do I need to say more? I will anyway.

Don't expect the grooming gang enquiry to do anything other than say that rapists are naughty men who should go to prison.
No one from Labour or the Pakistani community will be highlighted, and they will probably somehow try and blame the Tories and Reform.

I have no idea why you think an answer is needed to the question!

It should be perfectly obvious that I completely separate the two. All my criticism is about the politics of the current Israeli government and none whatsoever about the fact that anyone happens to be Jewish.
