Of course that struggle has now been co-opted to mean violence against non believers.

And yet you had "never heard" of the incident with the two girls arrested, charged and convicted of supporting Hamas and said it was "trawled up from the bin".

I would've thought that Oct 7 WAS a time of great tension tbh. Maybe not for Jew haters though.

I hadn’t heard of it! Not in the way described. With more detail I have some vague recollections but nothing specific. I was much more concerned at the time with what had happened in Israel and what would follow there. Having been there just a short time before the event it was very real to me.

Is it likely that a “Jew hater” would choose to visit Israel as a tourist? I try not to hate anyone. After my time in Israel, visiting the historic and holy sites, I went on a cruise of the Eastern Mediterranean from Haifa. 90% of my fellow cruisers were Israeli.

You mean 2 women wearing clothing depicting paragliders, on an anti-Israel march, just after 7/10. How else should it be described? It was all over the news, funny you had never heard of it or even now have a vague recollection

It might seem funny to you, but it’s true! The images which have been recently posted here are unfamiliar to me. I have gone back and read the story and don’t recall it. What I distantly remember is some people being arrested for allegedly supporting the attack but how not at all. As I said my focus then was on the main event. Not here.
