I'm a big Parish fan, but I think even his biggest fan would find it difficult to justify this window.
It almost vindicates Textor's assertion that the limit of Parish's ambition is to avoid relegation each season.

Glasner hasn't been asking for the earth - he's reasonably asked that if key players are sold that replacements are bought in a timely manner to be integrated so we have the best chance of continuing progress.
To be faffing around at 11th hour trying to get Brighton 's 4th choice centre half or a cast off forward from Spurs speaks for itself.
 
Is anyone else excited that Igon Julius or whatever he's called turned us down because we are signing so many centre backs today we couldn't guarantee him minutes?

No way back for Rob Holding now.
 
This window is more intense than any window I can remember. So much speculation but one thing is for sure, leaving so much this late doesn’t make sense unless our targets are doing this intentionally? I’d love dougie or someone within the club to do a podcast about transfer windows at Palace in the future. What on earth really goes on

How do we know we haven't already signed two or more players today? Just because cpfc.co.uk haven't made a flamboyant video full of geographic stereotypes yet doesn't mean we haven't. Hopefully wheels are turning and Sky Sports just don't have the inside info.
 
Yes, he's right, there is indeed a fear.

There is also a fear that I wake up in the morning to find my knackers have been chopped off. Doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Yes we don’t know, that’s why it would be great to have a behind the scenes view some day. Steve parish’s blood pressure must be going through the roof. Add to that every time he speaks to a potential defender he’s got Glasner yodelling at the top of his voice ‘yo de ley, yo de ley, guehi he he!’
 
So many rumours cant tell the truth from the bull , if we done all the rumours we would have 3 teams let alone just enough for 2 , be glad when window closes just to see what we have
