A drab pedestrian performance from our team.
Moving the ball far too slowly, allowing the hosts to remain in their 'Shape'.
This performance has given me NO grounds for optimism in respect of the rest of the season.

Can we stop with the moaning about Borna Sosa. We all know he is no star (that’s why he starts in the Conference League games!) but he is doing as well as anyone in red and blue tonight. He has put more crosses in than Munoz on the right and the goal came from his (yeah deflected) pass into the middle.

I think if you put all my 1500 HOL posts into the AI system you'd only come up with Andy Dorman as a Palace player I would slate and cannot forgive for even thinking of becoming a professional footballer. But we were at a low ebb at that point so probably not even his fault we signed him

Sosa has really tested my patience this season.

Stupid of Strand Larsen after giving the assist to get booked for complaining.

Not impressed by Kamada's contribution and even less with Johnson's and Sosa's. As usual we haven't much clue at Zrinjsi's low block. We need more invention and make use of all our possession.

My imo view on our 1st half . . .

Hendo: 5 not much to do, dodgy pass out
Richards:7 solid great headers/tackle(s)
Lacroix:7 as above, but now THE leader
Riad:9 awesome, tackles & covering
Munoz:5 not the player from last season
Wharton:6 always a ball forward, shooting . . .
Kamada:4 imho . . . Meh.
Sosa:2 why?
Sarr:9 Nuff said.
Johnson:5 runs around a lot, not sure where
JSL:6 busy, available, annoys the defence

If we come out in the second half, play well and win convincingly then I will be more optimistic. If we see more turgid, slow, error littered football then I will still feel the same. This opposition are lower Championship level at best. Probably more like League 1.

Johnson doesn’t fit in Glasners formation. We should be playing Larsen and Sarr as forwards with 3 in midfield. Even Larsen and Johnson would work as well. Johnson is just lost as a second no 10. He got 14 goals last season for Spurs, so he can’t be that bad. None of our 3 in this game are getting any service due to such slow build ups. Perhaps if quicker we might see a better player in Johnson?

I think it was the Fredrikstad home game, when we were in our record winning run, just won the Charity Shield at Wembley, brilliant form and spirit when I was just so stunned by our lack of ability to create against a team that defended against us rather than saw us a possible win and we'd hit them by winning the ball and score from the transitions

It's been repeated many times this season. If you don't try to beat us you will win. But surely not tonight.
