Book sounds interesting. Will order. Vaguely remember him - at least the name.
Me Sept 1964 home to Plymouth. Won 2-1. Bill Glazier still there for a short while before his record transfer of £35k for a keeper to Coventry. Think Millington took over for a short while before the great JJ.
Month I was born!! We played Brentford in the League Cup the day after I popped out, it’s always been a regret of mine I didn’t make that game 😁

16 years old, April 1991 at Wembley 4-1 versus Everton in the mickey mouse cup. Our only other 'trophy'. It was the only other time I got optimistic about breaking into the top six. Then Noades did his racist interview, we sold Wright and it continued to go pair shaped from then on (relegated on 49 points). At Wembley I had front row seats by the corner flag, view impaired by the old hooligan fencing. I think I went to a game earlier that season in the old Holmesdale standing terrace, but cannot remember who it was against. £4 a ticket back then.

4th September 76 taken by my Dad to 2-1 defeat against Chester. Read a report in a newspaper archive last week, TV was quoted as being very unhappy afterwards with Evans and Hammond blamed for the goals.
