Yann Bisseck

6'5", a ball playing centre-back and used to playing in a back three. You could argue the one thing we've missed in defence is someone who dominates physically, so this could be a very good signing if we end up getting him.

Name? AFCON. Damn.

But...

German. Huzzah.

We cannot afford him to boost the ranks. He's a replacement (assuming there is any truth).

We probably can. We've spent net 2m this summer, and it was about net -8m last season.

We have the PSR, is we have the cash is another matter!

Apparently the player rejected us. As with Cerci who bided his time, ended up at Man City and may be one of the players of the season.

Move on...

Anybody know if he's left footed or prefers to play on the left of a back 3?
If the story is true, and he's seen as a possible replacement for Guehi, ideally he would play in the same position.

I am led to believe that Bisseck’s role at Inter Milan last season was primarily as a right-sided central defender in a back three. He is right-footed.

this however says 'Bisseck has decided that he is willing to join Palace'
I'm sure if the move excites the lad he'll instruct his agent to make sure we are aware as well as letting Inter know he is keen on a move.
Personally though I dont really see what an established defender playing at the top of Serie A and in the CL would find interesting in a move to Palace except the hike in wages which is the only thing we can compete with Inter on.
We dont want merceneries. If he does well his agent will immediately start touting him around the top 6
