Xavier Gozo

By Palace's standards we have conducted our transfer business with considerable haste.

Time will tell how clever we have been. For me, Oscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, , Anan Khalaili and Xavier Gozo are unknown quantities. Hopefully at least a couple of them will prove to be astute buys.

You forgot McNeil (aka the Johnson ejector seat transfer)

Quite excited buying 3 right wing backs in one window to support Danny Munoz!

Just kidding. I think Xavier is a bit more of a forward?

Tomiyasu isn't an unknown quantity. He played a lot for Arsenal and has plenty of Premier league and European experience

I think the unknown quantity isn't about his ability but more to do with whether he can play for more than a couple of months without getting injured. He played 7 games last season...I don't think we can forget that. I think he's played 10 games in two years!

I left him out as I have seen McNeil play on a couple of occasions, although I don't remember how effective he was, but, to be honest ,I was unaware of the existence of the four I mentioned. Hopefully none of them will bring the "qualities" of the likes of Zeki Fryers, Jordan Mutch, or indeed, Brennan Johnson to the squad.

He has said himself that he is a winger. I'm positive in so much as fans in America have unanimously stated how good he is. Obviously, the PL is a step up, but it's always good to sign players who are on the up, similar to Khalaili. I imagine we might have to be patient though, as I doubt he's been brought in with the expectation he'll be starting regularly.

Yep certainly one to be patient with. But cant help getting excited, for a young lad he's already scored a couple of absolute crackers. Clearly has ability

3 of them are full internationals !

That and you cannot guarantee a player will fit and/or settle.
