World Snooker championship.

Strange game between Brecel and Day. Misses, flukes (one absolute screamer from Brecel), in-offs, doubles. Entertaining in its difference if not the highest quality.
Yep, very scrappy match. Both players looked nervy, Day in particular. Surprising, when you consider their professional standing, but the tension must be immense.

Pleased Brecel won through, he shows more flare round the table, which I like.

Brecel is exciting if a little flaky. But Day just never seems convincing. Having done it before, Brecel knows what it takes.

He does not seem the most joyous person.
He certainly won't be later this evening. Looks like he's on his way out of the competition, despite a maximum 147. And no, I'm not all that keen on him either AS. Won't be sorry to see him go.

Some achievement by Judd Trump to get 100 century breaks in a season - more than Alex Higgins got in his entire career. Jimmy White said it was because when a frame was won Higgins would try to entertain rather than concentrate on running up a big score.

Centuries only seemed to become such a big thing with Hendry and then up a level with O'Sullivan. I remember Mark Williams not even caring.
