Yet if anyone dares to tackle Messi even fairly they all went steaming in surrounding the ‘culprit’ 🤨It does go some way to explaining their reaction to Maradona's handball - winning is the only aim and how it's done doesn't matter and is even better if there's some skulduggery involved.
Even more that other countries are a soft touch for not cheating all the time.

He's also got a way of grabbing the ball as he goes over which would be an automatic handball if the free kick wasn't given.Yet if anyone dares to tackle Messi even fairly they all went steaming in surrounding the ‘culprit’ 🤨

To be honest I hate the little rat now, he’s guilty by association 🤣He's also got a way of grabbing the ball as he goes over which would be an automatic handball if the free kick wasn't given.
It feels wrong to talk about such a great player like this but he deserves it.

They're getting one "centenary" game each, Uruguay as the 1930 winners, Argentina as losing 1930 finalists (although any other explanation would probably have done) and Paraguay because then, and still now, the South American Football Confederation had their HQ there. If this is commented on above my apologies.
I learned today that there are 6 "host" nations for the next world cup. 3 you know. Spain, Portugal and Morocco. All fair so far.
However, allegedly to celebrate the 100th year of the competition, they are also "hosting" in Uruguay as inaugural winners.
I am not sure if they propose to hold all group games in Montevideo or just the opening game. But it presents Uruguay with a huge advantage over whichever nation is unfortunate enough to be in their group and tasked with playing in that seething cauldron. The game will obviously be rigged with preparations sabotaged, food and drink tampered with, officials bent etc. And I suppose the victim team will then have to relocate across the Atlantic for the remainder of their games? Imagine if it is e.g. an African or Middle East team? Or us?
Obviously Uruguay, as "host", no longer need to qualify.
Now, if that were not bad enough, wait for this. For reasons FIFA haven't fully explained, Uruguay will be joined as co-"hosts" for these opening games by Paraguay (!?) and - shock horror! - Argentina (!!!?). Brazil I could fathom. But why would they hand such a clear advantage to those baksheesh donor countries?
Can anyone explain?

It may be but it's the explanation FIFA have given. That is a fetch and I am being charitable.
I get Uruguay , as for the first losing team no , Paraguay didnt know history but fair , lets face it FIFA has f***ed up a torment that was a celebration of football , totally detached from football supportersThey're getting one "centenary" game each, Uruguay as the 1930 winners, Argentina as losing 1930 finalists (although any other explanation would probably have done) and Paraguay because then, and still now, the South American Football Confederation had their HQ there.

There were only 13 countries involved so getting to the final wasn't a major achievement. America finished third but presumably nobody has told Trumpet.I get Uruguay , as for the first losing team no , Paraguay didnt know history but fair , lets face it FIFA has f***ed up a torment that was a celebration of football , totally detached from football supporters

The conspiracy theory is that FIFA pushed for the games in 2030 so can have the US host the games again in 2038 due to the rotational rules. If this is commented on above my apologies.
