Nothing will happen to either players, team or federation.
But Bellingham will get a fine and suspension for his post match push.
Argentina are setting a poor example (Paraguay) which will likely get worse as FIFA will turn a blind eye.
In 1966 Alf called them animals and wouldn't ley his players swap shirts with them.

Some of you may remember the Italia 90 final between West Germany and Argentina when our friends from South America also reduced that final to a mockery with their cynical approach to the match, and it was, at the time, deemed the worst ever World Cup final. Fortunately they got their just deserts on that occasion too.
They played for pens all the way to the final that year
Opening up the game!! Surely he means “ filling my coffers”. Should never be held in Saudi but if they insist make them build air conditioned stadia, like Atlanta. Even then, what an awful place for fans to watch football, no consideration for fans at all.
Interesting Ceferin boycotted the Final, we all know how corrupt UEFA are but they pale into insignificance compared to FIFA. I really would like to see UEFA break away from FIFA, then watch the sponsors leave as well. Something drastic has to happen to rein in Infantino, especially as I suspect f all will happen to Argentina. Paredes issued a red card after the final whistle, this has been removed from the records 🤔

There are circa 200 countries in FIFA of which probably circa 10 including England generate their own money from their domestic leagues and cups. In other words those 10 do not need a handout from FIFA or the regional body.
So the overwhelming majority of countries rely on FIFA to dribble down the money which that country's FIFA rep may or may not pass onto to those that need it.
Blatter recognised this or as a White House official once said "when you got them by the balls their hearts and minds will follow".
FIFA is engaged in a battle with UEFA the richest federation due to the Champions League. FIFA would love to get their hands on this money but can't so they are creating their own revenue stream hence the World Club Cup competition or what ever it's called and the expansion of the World Cup.
As for the rest of the world as long as Infantino keeps the money tap on they are not going to look to closely at corruption etc.
I can foresee a day when UEFA leaves FIFA not because of any moral reason but because the major football clubs threaten to quit to form a super league. This is a three way fight FIFA vs UEFA Vs the big clubs all can see riches to fight over.

I remember it well because it was another ‘how did we not win it?’ Year because neither the Germans or the argies were up to much, they just knew how to grind their way through tournaments and win at any cost, maybe if we had more of a nasty streak and were harder to play against!!

Argentina have gone beyond a nasty streak and are now openly cheating. There's an Instagram clip of the Fernandez red card where Tagliafico, who's about 20 yards back from the foul with no one anywhere near him, drops to the ground as though he's been butchered and lies holding his head, and Messi trying to point out to the ref that no red card should be awarded because of it for some reason.
Messi hasn't come out of the competition well with his diving, running into players to engineer free kicks and waving imaginary cards around all the time.
FIFA actively favouring Argentina might be a stretch but they did get a lot of leeway from both refs and VAR.

This world cup has to go down as one of the worst I can remember; from the quality of the football, the ridiculously inconsistent use of VAR, the absurdity of the americanisation of the games (pointless hydration breaks, 30 min half times) to the blatent Fifa corruption/Incompetence/meddling (delete as appropriate), has made a mockery of the tournament.
The one redeeming feature is one that I thought I'd hate - the expansion to 48 teams has worked. forget about the lack of jeopardy the 48 teams brought to the group stages, the traditionally 'lesser' countries genuinly brought some colour and enjoyment. African teams especially have provided the most entertaining matches as a whole, although special mentions go to Japan and Mexico.
It's been one where the traditional powerhouses have faltered, and the traditional 'lesser' nations have shown no fear toward them, providing some genuinely shocks. Well I say that - the shocks seem to have been stifled by suggestions of refereeing and VAR bias, marring the spectacle.
A tournament where the most talk has been of controversy, rather than the successes on the pitch.
Thankfully a proper footballing team won - on merit. At least we can say that.

Yes that’s true actually, they’ve made the crazy gang look soft, the argies were just animals, it was all out assault from Paredes at the end, he should face criminal charges, you couldn’t do that out on the street, well in argie land you probably could

It does go some way to explaining their reaction to Maradona's handball - winning is the only aim and how it's done doesn't matter and is even better if there's some skulduggery involved.
Even more that other countries are a soft touch for not cheating all the time.

There isn't much middle ground between the PL officiating where virtually any contact made in a tackle is liable to be penalised and the open season declared by some World Cup refs.
I don't mind good old fashioned hard tackle but taking the player is there only goals in a tackle , in my day we would have targeted that player and forced him off , and he would be s*** scared next time he played us ,
think we need a team to play the argies with sole aim of putting them on the treatment table , see if they what to play again then
